Los Verdes Golf Course
Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
The South Bay Surf Golf Tournament is set for Friday, July 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Los Verdes Golf Course. There will be a dinner and awards banquet following the golf. The format is a team scramble and winning teams will win cash and prizes. In addition, there will be two closest to the pins and two long drives. The winners will receive cash prizes.
The cost is $100 per player with room for 100 players and the fee covers your green fees and cart, gift bag, and dinner reception. The dinner reception will feature a silent and live auction with many items donated by professional athletes.
Every year the South Bay Surf gets invited to play at the Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York and the golf tournament serves as the primary fundraiser for this trip. This tournament is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that very few teams are able to participate in. Not only is this an outstanding opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the country, but other great activities such as the visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame are also included which make the experience something that players will never forget.

The Surf Baseball Program is designed to foster the development of youth baseball in the South Bay by enhancing fundamental knowledge through education and training. Time proven, we know that consistently teaching the proper fundamentals along with regular game application allows our players to develop the skills necessary to play better today and succeed in the future. Our players learn from numerous baseball experts who bring their expertise from advanced levels of both play and coaching, including: local high schools, colleges and the minor and major leagues.
